Angela Montierth

imageAngela Montierth is a freelance journalist at Fox News Latino. She also does work for a Salt Lake Market Spanish radio station as a sideline commentator at professional soccer matches. She has a deep passion for world cultures and travel: she speaks English, Spanish and Portuguese, and has spent extended periods of time photographing and filming the daily lives of people in Costa Rica, Mexico, Brazil, Chile, Vietnam, and Cambodia.  She has worked as an anchor, reporter, and producer in several sports, news, entertainment, and educational, shows in the Salt Lake market in both English and Spanish. She has also hosted and reported for various internationally-aired entertainment and educational shows. Angela won a regional Emmy and Telly award for her work as a host and reporter for an internationally-aired Spanish language television show called NEXOS. She also participated in anchoring and producing of her school’s newscast which was just named “Best Student Newscast” by the SPJ. Angela recently graduated from Brigham Young University’s Broadcast Journalism program, where she minored in Spanish.
